New$ You Can U$e Marks 4th Anniversary

While we normally don’t take the opportunity to blow our own horn in this e-newsletter, I think it’s appropriate to pause to celebrate what I consider a bit of an achievement:

This issue marks our 4th Anniversary and 58th consecutive edition of New$ You Can U$e.  Since October 2003, we have attempted to offer regular tips and some thought-provoking articles that we hope you -- our friends and colleagues in the development field – have found useful in your own work, and in training fundraising volunteers. 

From the basics of gift solicitation, to ‘Why conduct a feasibility study?,’ to board recruitment and management, to planned giving, to grant writing, advocacy and faith-based giving, to the latest statistics from GivingUSA, we’ve tried to stay true to our goal of giving you news and information you can use, rather than using this space as a way to simply market Jeffrey Byrne & Associates.

If you haven’t been with us since Day One, we invite you to visit our Articles and Resources section of our website at www.fundraisingjba.com and scroll through the more than 160 articles preserved there for you. Feel free to download them to share with colleagues and volunteers. We encourage you to write us with your suggestions and contributions (guest articles are always welcome and have been some of our more lively and interesting contributions).
