Jane Mackey

Jane Mackey joins Jeffrey Byrne & Associates after more than 25 years in executive management of non-profit health organizations. Most recently, Jane successfully directed a capital campaign at Stormont-Vail Foundation raising $5.7 million for neonatal intensive care services at Stormont-Vail HealthCare. Prior to serving as the President and Executive Director of the Stormont-Vail Foundation, Jane was Assistant Secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Administration. For 20 years, Jane served as the President and CEO of Kansas Blood Services.

Jane brings success in fundraising and management for non- profits as well as broad experiences in health care. During her tenure at Kansas Blood Services, she was elected President of the AABB (American Association of Blood Banks), the only professional association representing professionals in transfusion medicine, tissue banking, blood banking, and cellular therapies. She also served as a trustee of the National Blood Foundation and as President of the Heart of America Association of Blood Banks. In 1998, Jane was recognized by the Topeka Community Foundation as the Corporate Philanthropist of the Year.

Jane has been an active member of numerous community boards including Stormont-Vail HealthCare, Community Resource Council, the Topeka Community Foundation, the United Way of Greater Topeka, and the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce. She is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Topeka program. Jane was recognized as a 1994 Kansan of Distinction in Health Care.

She received her undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Kansas.
