partnered with the Stormont-Vail Foundation
in its campaign to create a new, state-of-the-art
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Stormont-Vail
Hospital in Topeka, KS
The most heart-wrenching time for parents
and families is when they experience the emotional
trauma of having a critically ill infant hospitalized
in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Yet,
every day, more than 21 babies with very special
needs are cared for in the Stormont-Vail NICU.
Stormont-Vail's Level III Neonatal Intensive
Care Unit (NICU) provides the highest level
of specialization available in Shawnee County,
Kansas. No other hospital between Kansas City
and Wichita provides this level of care for
critically ill infants.
